My experience with drama activities

I don’t have much experience on drama. I sometimes work role plays or a mime game with my students, but we don’t do it very often.

After doing this course, I would like to look for  some short plays or sketches to be performed by students. I know it’ isn’t  an easy task but I feel like trying it.  Perhaps I dont’ get  good results but   I’m sure that the  class dynamics will change and most of my students will enjoy it and they will love participating in these small performances.

Hi Carmen!
We could use our script with our younger students to practice dramatization. They could first repeat some of the lines rhythmically and then learn and act out the whole play. It is easy for them. Bye!

Hi Carmen, there are some little sketches with very easy vocabulary you could work on. I use a very old Longman reader (7 Sketches, by Leslie Dunkling). Performing is an enjoyable experience for most of the students. You can have a look at my blog or my play when it is in the database. It is a very easy play.
