My experience with drama

I am a music teacher and I also teach Science. I do some drama activities with my pupils in both classes. For example, in the music class while my pupils are listening to music I use to tell them a story and the next time they listen to that music they have to mime o perform the story I told them.

I have never do a play with my pupils and I would like to. In this course I have learnt some things that will help me and a lot of websites full of resources that will be useful for me in the future.

I think Music teachers have a lot of things in common in order to prepare some activities. English teachers usually sing very much so it is important we love music. About mime when they sing is very useful and we prepare simulations and role-plays to students feel confidence and don't feel shy to talk or sing in English. I suppose that it is the same when children must sing or dance in Music classes.
